: “Sleeping in a Dream”

The slice of life, comedy/drama” Sleeping in a Dream”, is a cross between Brothers McMullen and Swingers. It is according to one industry source, a cool buddy movie and a better date movie.  “Sleeping in a Dream”, was shot on Staten Island and Manhattan in 12 days. The budget was extremely low and Fox Searchlight ( who we’ve had five meetings with) said it looked like it was made for a million.   Tommy Bernard, President of Sony Pictures Classics had a private screening and was interested as well. We were interviewed on the Sundance Channel(“24-Frame News”), and we are generating a buzz. This is the writing/directing/ producing and lead role debut for Jerry O’Donnell(appears on “Law & Order” and “SVU“), a native Staten Islander. 80 percent of the crew and cast also hailed from the borough. Several of the roles were also played by non-acting people who work for the NYPD,, Con Ed, and Wall Street firms. BSM Productions is a new company and this is their first venture into the movie business. We guarantee it will be enjoyed, like it was for anyone that has seen it so far. (You can view our web &  present trailer at www.sleepinginadream.com. We are in the process of making a tighter, funnier version of our trailer of “Sleeping in a Dream”)
